Foxworthy’s love life started when he was at a comedy club presenting his best for a contest at The Punchline in Atlanta in 1984. He won the competition and met Pamela Gregg who approached the funnyman to talk. He reminisced in one of his interviews with Closer Weekly, “I was working [as a technician] at IBM, and a bunch of guys entered me in a comedy competition. My wife was an actress and came down to support this guy. So the first night I was onstage, she was there, and I won the contest! She came up and talked to me. I was so nervous, that I spilled my drink down her sweater and said, “I guess you’ll never go out with me,” and she said, “Well, you haven’t even asked.” An hour into the first date, I was like, “Oh crap, I’m going to marry this girl.” So I met my wife and started my career on the same night!”
The couple read their vows in 1985, in a simple wedding capturing the memories on a Polaroid camera. He believes all it takes for a relationship to work is “partnership.” They welcomed their first kid, Jordan Foxworthy, in 1992 who gave the family their first grandkid in 2021, and second kid, Juliane Foxworthy, in 1994. Jeff Foxworthy is a family man for whom kids have always been his priority and adores his relationship with his wife.
